Chip Pan Fire

2 crews from Falmouth attended a call to a kitchen fire. On arrival they found that the fire had involved a chip pan and was out on arrival.
Cooking appliances cause about 50% of all accidental fires, causing 70 deaths and 5000 injuries per year. Chip pans are the biggest single cause of fires in the home. For further information please use the following link.
