Firefighters from Falmouth were quickly in attendance of reports of a house fire with a person trapped inside. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus gained entry to the semi-detached house and rescued the casualty, who was placed in the care of paramedics. The fire was quickly extinguished and the smoke cleared from the building.

There is no further information available from the brigade, particularly in relation to the casualty.
