Lorry Fire

Appliances from St. Dennis and the water carrier attended this incident. On arrival the lorry was found to be well alight, the lorry was found to be natural gas powered. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to fight the fire. After the fire was extinguished, jets were used to cool the LPG tank. The A30 was closed during the incident. Officer in Charge at the incident was Station Officer Robinson. The incident was completed at approximately 1400 hours.
