On receipt of a call for this incident, appliances from Launceston were mobilised, on arrival crews found the barn well alight and threatening nearby buildings, further resources were requested, with appliances from Callington and Bodmin attending, the water carrier from Bodmin was also mobilised, firefighters used hosereels and jets on the fire, the barn was dismantled with the help of the owner and attending crews turned over the hay using pitchforks.
