Cow Rescued From Wet Shaft

18 firefighters from St Ives and Camborne rescued a cow from about 50 foot down a wet shaft. The operation took just over 3 hours and the cow was left in care of its owner with only a few scratches. Station Officer Graham Warren, based at Penzance, was the officer-in-charge.
