Fire At Derelict Brewery

One fire appliance from Redruth and two fire appliances from Camborne attended following over a dozen 999 calls reporting a fire in a two storey section of the complex, measuring 30 metres by 10 metres.
Firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus, used two jets to bring the blaze under control by 0600hrs and crews remained in attendance, damping down for a further 45 minutes.
Arson is suspected and the police are now dealing.
