At 0100 hrs the Brigade were called to the above address to a reported house fire.In total 4 fire engines attended 2 from Penzance 1 from St just & 1 from Camborne & a specialist BA appliance from Falmouth. On arrival, the house was well alight, the occupants were alerted to the fire by the actuation of smoke detection supplied and fitted by the fire brigade, and had evacuated the building prior to the crews arrival. One male casualty was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation by amb. Semi detached house 10m x6m, 8 firefighters wearing breathing aparatus used 2 jets 2 hosereels to extinguish the fire.
