At 1137 this morning the Brigade was called to a woodland fire at Helstone on the St Kew Highway to Camelford Road. One appliance from Delabole and one appliance from Bodmin attended. Officer in Charge was Leading Fire Fighter Blewett. Approx quarter of an acre of woodland was involved,and the brigade used 2 hose reels 2 main Jets and beaters to tackle this fire. The brigade also had a water carrier in attendance to aid water relay. The stop for the incident was submitted at 1501 with the last appliance leaving the scene at 1617.
