Fire Involving Workshop Containing Gas Cylinders

At 1927 yesterday evening the brigade sent 4 pumps from Penzance ,St ives,and St Just to a reported workshop fire .On arrival of the first appliance it was a 2 storey shed 50 metres x 20m well alight containing a lorry ,Acetylene gas cylinder & 2 other gas cylinders. an exclusion zone of 200m has been set up .Crews set up 2 ground monitors to extinguish the fire & to cool the cylinders. Crews will be there all night cooling & damping down.
