Foal Rescued From Ditch

One fire appliance and specialist rescue equipment from Bodmin attended when a foal fell and became wedged on its back in a narrow ditch.
With the assistance of a vet, the foal was calmed and the crew dug around to release it. They then hauled the foal up the side of the ditch, where it was left in care of its owner. It is understood that the foal is uninjured.
