The brigade were called to a car fire on the road out of Polzeath, near the Port Quin turning. One appliance from Wadebridge attended and found the car to be well alight, the crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. The car fire is believed to have started accidental, which spread to approximately six metres of hedge. There are no further details available regarding this incident. There will be further updates on the newsdesk as and when incidents occur.
