Firefighters from Camborne, Redruth and Penzance were called to a house fire this morning. They were informed that there was someone inside the property.
When they arrived the house was already heavily smoke logged. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property. They fought through the intense heat and smoke and found the occupier.
Unfortunately the gentleman was already deceased. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
A full fire investigation is now taking place.
