Road Traffic Collision - Person Trapped

One fire appliance from Newquay, one fire appliance from St Columb and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised to a report of a road traffic collision with people trapped.
Firefighters assisted with a number of casualties and one trapped casualty was released using crash rescue equipment by 1810hrs.
We understand that the road is closed and will be for some considerable time.
