At 09:24hrs ambulance control requested the brigade's attendance at a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, at St Kew Highway. One appliance from Wadebridge and the rescue tender from Bodmin attended and on arrival found one person had been released from one vehicle but a second person was still trapped in the other car. The crews used crash rescue equipment to release the casualty into the care of ambulance personnel who transported this person to hospital by air ambulance. Crews also made the scene safe and have now left. There are no further details relating to this incident. Further updates will be entered on the newsdesk as and when incidents occur.
