Fire in Classroom

Two fire appliances from St Austell were mobilised to a report of a fire in a classroom. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two jets, one hosereel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the classroom fire in the single storey school, measuring 30 metres by 20 metres.
0730hrs - The fire is believed to be out. Crews are investigating the roof void for any fire spread. A positive pressure ventilation fan is in use clearing the smoke.
