Both appliances from Liskeard were mobilised to this incident, on arrival the van was found to be well alight and contained an LPG cylinder, further resources were requested and an appliance from Looe and water carrier from Bodmin were mobilised, crews used two jets to extinguish the fire and cool the cylinder, which was then checked over using the thermal image camera and confirmed safe. As a precaution the the A38 to Plymouth was closed for a short while. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police who were in attendance.
