Two crews from Falmouth and a third from Redruth were mobilised to a reported property fire. The caller stated that she and her friend were trapped in the upstairs of the property and that the ground floor was smokelogged. The crews attended the address given to find that this was not the correct address. It took the crews some time to locate the actual property and fortunately found that there was no fire, the smoke was due to cooking fumes. The public should make sure, if they are staying with friends, especially over the festive season, that they are fully aware of the address of the property as lives could be lost if the Brigade cannot find them.
