Chemical Incident

Firefighters from Redruth and Camborne were called to a chemical incident earlier today. Three drums, each containing 1000 litres of hypoclorite solution were involved, and the chemical was leaking from a valve.
The firefighters are remaining at scene until the company arrives to remove the container.
Firefighters wore gas tight suits and breathing apparatus for safety.
