On receipt of this call, both appliances from Camborne were mobilised, on arrival at the scene there was found to be a detached property of two floors, with an explosion on the ground floor causing windows to be blown out and structrtal damage caused, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus searched the property to ensure that no persons were left in the building. The cause of the explosion was believed to have been caused by gas. Transo were requested to attend. Two casualties were treated at the scene by attending ambulance crews.
