On receipt of a call for this incident, two appliances from Liskeard and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival at the scene, the crews found that there was a collision between a light goods vehicle and a car, one person was removed from a vehicle prior to arrival of Brigade and transferred to hospital, unfortunately there was one casualty pronounced deceased at the scene, Brigade gave assistance at the scene with the removal of the deceased. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police, who were in attendance.
