Two fire appliances from Launceston attended a chimney fire with smoke entering the rooms of the house. The crews extinguished the fire using a hosereel, chimney rods and a thermal imaging camera. The smoke was cleared from the building using a positive pressure ventilation fan. The crews checked for any fire spread before leaving the scene at 1950hrs.
