Both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised on receipt of this call, on arrival the crews found a fire in the stand, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed at the scene and used a hosereel to extinguish the fire, crews used small gear to cut away areas of the stand which were involved in the fire. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police attended and will be making further enquires, any further information may be obtained from them.
