Fire At Laundrette

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus from St Dennis used a hosereel to extinguish a fire in a single storey laundrette, measuring five metres by five metres. The fire was extinguished by 1505hrs and the crews were detained for a time clearing the smoke from the premises and ensuring the scene was left safe.
The fire started when clothes overheated in a tumble dryer.
