One crew from Camborne used a thermal imaging camera, stirrup pump and rods to deal with a chimney fire which took about 45 minutes to extinguish.
Fire Safety Advice
Have your chimney swept at least once per year.
Chimney fires can spread to the rest of the house with devastating effects causing injury or death.
