Chimney Fire
Headland Hotel, Newquay at 24/02/2008 08:41
Two pumps and the aerial ladder platform from Newquay attended this incident. The chimney spanned five floors of the hotel and ceilings were cut away between floors to ensure that the fire had not spread to floorboards. The crews used a hosereel and stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the fire. We have no further information on this incident.
