On receipt of this call, both appliances from Liskeard were mobilised to the incident, on arrival at the scene, the officer in charge, requested further resources and an appliance from Bodmin was mobilised, also the incident was then classified as persons reported, the fire was on the ground floor of a semi detached property, a total of six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed into the building and they used hosereels and a jet to extinguish the fire, a thorough check of the premises was made and fortunately all persons were accounted for. The building was heavily smokelogged and smoke had entered the adjoining premise, positive pressure fans were used at the incident to ventilate the properties. Fire Investigation Officers will attend to determine the cause of the fire.
