Dog Down Mine Shaft

Appliances from Callington and Bodmin, also the rescue tender from Bodmin attended this incident. On arrival they were deployed to rescue a dog which was trapped approximately 50 feet down in a dry shaft. Two firefighters were lowered into the shaft, using the new rope rescue equipment. The dog was located and successfully rescued.
