Firefighters from Truro, Redruth, Perranporth, Newquay and Falmouth are fighting a fire in a single storey building, measuring 30 metres by 30 metres, containing a spray booth. Smoke is drifting across the road and the police are in attendance dealing with traffic control.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using jets to extinguish the fire.

UPDATE 1945hrs: The fire is now out. Damping down is in progress. Thermal imaging cameras are being used to monitor the hot areas. Positive pressure ventilation fans are in use clearing the smoke from the building.

FINAL UPDATE: The incident has now been dealt with. The last of the crews left the scene at 2030hrs. The cause of the fire is still under investigation but not thought to be suspicious.
