Chemical Leak

Appliances from Camborne, Redruth and Truro attended an incident where a quantity of an unknown hazardous chemical had leaked from its container whilst being transported. Crews used gauntlets and breathing apparatus to remove the damaged container. Spillage of the chemical was absorbed using granules and along with the damaged container were placed in an overdrum which was sealed and will be disposed of.
