The Brigade was called to assist the rescue of a man who had injured his leg at the top of a radio tower. One Crew from St Columb, the Rescue Tender from Bodmin and an Aerial Ladder platform from Newquay attended. The casualty was loaded onto the Aerial ladder platform slowly lowered the casualty from the 16 meter high radar tower. The casualty was then taken to hospital by air ambulance.
