House and Adjoining Barn On Fire

Two appliances from Mevagissey, two from St Austell, one from Truro as well as the Command Support Unit and water carrier attended this incident. This was found to be a domestic dwelling and attached barn measuring approximately 15m x 15m. The crews used four breathing apparatus, three main jets and a hosereel to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was accidental. Crews have left the scene now apart from one remaining appliance from Mevagissey. We have no further information on this incident.
