On receipt of this call, appliances from St. Ives were mobilised, on arrival at the scene there was a confirmed fire and further appliances were requested, which attended from Penzance and Camborne, the command support vehicle and aerial ladder platform from Truro were also mobilised as was the operational support vehicle from Falmouth. The water carrier from Penzance also attended.

Update at 0600 hours:
A total of 6 firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using two jets and hosereels are in use, the crews are also using the thermal image camera to assist them at this time.

Update at 0630 hours:
As at this time crews are engaged cutting away on the first floor.

Update at 0650 hours:
The incident was classified as under control as at 0647 hours. The incident is being scaled down and some appliances are returning to their home stations at this time.

Update at 0725 hours:
Most of the appliances and specialist appliances have now returned to their home stations. Crews from St. Ives and Penzance are still in attendance at the scene. A Fire Investigation Team will be attending later this morning to determine the cause of the fire.

Update at 0800 hours:
Crews are now clearing away and checking over the premises and will be returning shortly.
