Appliances from Helston and Camborne were mobilised to this incident, on arrival the caravan was found to be well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, unfortunately the caravan was completely destroyed, crews remained for a time damping down and ensuring the area was safe. The cause was accidental.
