On receipt of this call both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised, the incident was then classified as 'Persons Reported,' further appliances from St. Dennis and Mevagissey were mobilised as were the aerial ladder platform from Truro and the command support vehicle from Truro, the breathing apparatus support unit from St. Austell also attended.
Update as 2200 hours: A total of four breathing apparatus wearers are in use at this time and a total of three jets are in use. Further details as and when received.
Update as at 2330 hours: Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are still committed at the incident, three jets are still in use also the aerial ladder platform is in use at the incident.
Update as at 0015: The incident is continuing with the aerial ladder platform using a monitor and hosereel to knock out hot spots within the roof space of the building. Further investigations are continuing.
Update as at 0100 hours: The incident is now being scaled down. The brigade will re-attend at 0700 hours and proceed with further investigations.
