Firefighters from Camborne and Redruth attended a report of a fire involving a microwave oven. The crews found that the fire was already out and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus removed the microwave oven from the property and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

One person suffered smoke inhalation and oxygen was administered by the brigade until the arrival of ambulance personnel.
