On receipt of this call stating that two steers were caught in mud up to their necks, resources from Helston, Camborne and Falmouth were mobilised, fortunately whilst en route the animals managed to struggle free, and the services of the Brigade were not required, although an officer and appliance attended to ensure the welfare of the animals.
