Firefighters from Bodmin and St Dennis attended a road traffic collision with reports that one of the vehicles involved had smoke issuing from it. The crews found that a member of the public had already extinguished the fire in the car and that one casualty was trapped. Crash rescue equipment was used to release the casualty and they were left in care of ambulance personnel. The fire crews then made the scene safe before leaving the scene at 2215hrs.
