Two appliances from Launceston were sent to a house fire tonight. On arrival the house was well alight and Crews from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were requested to assist by sending extra appliances. Crews used breathing apparatus and hoses to extinguish the fire and successfully rescued and resuscitated two cats. For further details, please contact Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service.
