Scrap Car Alight

Firefighters from Callington used two hosereels to extinguish a scrap car that was well alight. The car was being transported on the back of a lorry when it caught fire. The driver of the lorry pulled into the nearest layby and off-loaded the car to prevent the fire spreading to the lorry.
