Firefighters from St Keverne attended with an officer following a report from Falmouth Coastguard of a cylinder washed up on the shore. Coastguards had attended and cordoned off the cylinder to protect members of the public. Warning labels were visible so they had requested the fire brigade attend to inspect to ensure the cylinder was safe.

Following an inspection the cylinder was deemed safe and it was left for collection by the local council.
