At 1415hrs this afternoon, the Brigade received a call to this address where it was reported that smoke was issuing from the building and that a disabled occupant was still inside the property. Appliances from St Columb, Newquay and St Dennis attended. The casualty was rescued from a window by a member of the public before the arrival of the Brigade. A small fire in the lounge was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and one hose reel. No further information is available.
