Firefighters from Camborne used one hosereel to extinguish a plastic bin fire. The fire had been caused by the careless disposal of the hot remains of a barbecue.

Members of the public are reminded to take particular care when disposing of the ashes from a barbecue. Hot ashes should never be placed in a plastic container or near any combustible material.
