Two appliances from Truro and the aerial ladder platform from Truro attended a fire in a building of two floors measuring 20 metres by 10 metres. There was smoke issuing from the roof, crews used a CO2 extinguisher and a thermal image camera to check for hot spots. Western Power were requested to isolate the power, once it was made safe, crews wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereels were able to extinguish the fire. Crews had left scene by 19:35 hours.
