It’s back by popular demand!
Bodmin Fire Station Open Day returns this Saturday 12th July, 12-3pm. This year’s theme is “We don’t just fight fires” and will include demonstrations by Bodmin Fire Cadets followed by a chance to see the latest crash rescue techniques and equipment.
Charlie and Nelson, the fire dogs, will be there to show off their skills and there will be refreshments and other stalls making it fun for all the family!
This is a great chance to visit your local fire station, meet your local firefighters and see all of the equipment they use every day in fire and rescue situations.
In the evening the station will seamlessly be transformed for a charity “Beach Party”.
There will be a Disco/Karaoke, Surf Simulator and Licensed Bar. Tickets are £5 and are available from the fire station, please call 01208 72312.
All proceeds will go toward the Chernobyl Children Lifeline Charity who the Brigade hosts throughout the year.
