Two crews from Camborne attended a shaft rescue this evening. Upon arrival crews were informed that one dog had fallen down a dry shaft of an unknown depth. Crews cut vegetation down around the top of the shaft and calculated the depth of the shaft to be 15 meters. Crews used the saftey at height and confined spaces pack, and line rescue equipment. Crews recovered Roxy the springer spaniel fit and well from the shaft and she was returned to her owners.
