Two fire appliances from Redruth and one fire appliance from Camborne attended a pan of fat on fire. The fire crews used two breathing apparatus and a fire blanket to smother the burning pan. One casualty was suffering smoke inhalation and was treated by ambulance crews. Fire crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to help reduce smoke damage to the property.
