Two fire appliances from Camborne attended a fire in a single-storey outbuilding, measuring fifteen metres by ten metres. The firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus, worked hard using two hosereels and one jet to contain the fire to 50% of the building, which contains a quantity of hay and equipment.
0530hrs - Firefighters have been damping down the burning hay. One fire crew has now left the incident and the other crew will remain in attendance for a time, continuing to damp down.
0600hrs - Damping down is now complete and the last fire crew has now left the scene.
