At 22:37hrs the Brigade had several calls to a motorcycle fire located at the junction of Well Lane and Pike Street in Liskeard. One appliance from Lostwithiel, which had been positioned at Liskeard Fire Station to provide cover whilst the Liskeard appliances were dealing with the road laying machine, attended this incident. The crew found the vehicle to be well alight and wearing two breathing appartus and using one hose reel extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire is believed to have been started deliberately and details have been passed to Devon and Cornwall Police. There are no further details regarding this incident.
