Two appliances from St Austell together with an officer attended an address in Polgooth, St Austell after a call was received saying that smoke was issuing from a property.
There was no-one trapped inside as the person had already been rescued.
On arrival the crews found a fire in a first floor flat and used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hosereel to extinguish the fire.
