Firefighters from the Isles of Scilly Fire and Rescue Service's St Mary's Fire Station were called to a house on fire. On arrival the crews found that a fire in the kitchen was already out and they inspected to ensure all was safe. One person had managed to escape before the arrival of the brigade and they were left in care of ambulance personnel. No further details are available.
